You copy text from a web page or a document, paste it somewhere new, and the old styling tags along — odd fonts, stray spacing, hidden formatting. Second Draft fixes that. Paste in formatted text and it hands back plain, tidy text: simple writing marked up with light symbols for headings and links, the kind that drops cleanly into almost any editor or website.
When you're done, save it as a file or copy it straight across. It does one small job, so you stop cleaning up by hand.
